all about me

i don't know about you guys but whenever i read someone's blog, i always want to know who they are, where they live, what they do, etc. i like to feel like i actually know something about the person's life i'm reading about...makes me feel slightly less creepy :)

since i have some new followers, thanks to my sister! i thought i'd share a little about me!

first, this is what i look like! i always like to see a picture of the person's blog i'm reading. makes me feel like we're friends.

i've lived in raleigh since january, when i moved from chicago, where i grew up. i moved because i transferred to State, wanted something new, and wanted to be near my sister. after living 1,000 miles away from each other for four-ish years, it's nice to be two blocks away :)

i'm in the college of textiles at state, studying fashion & textile management. not sure what i want to do with it yet but probably something in merchandising or brand management. i think being a buyer would be pretty cool too.

my sister and i have a jewelry business, Elisabeth Ashlie Jewelry, which is what i spend most of my spare time on. i love to be creative and make jewels for other people to enjoy!

i'm a christian. well, really, i'm not a huge fan of saying that [that term has lost it's meaning over the years] so i like to say that i'm a follower of jesus...at least, i try to be. i'm a broken person who has been redeemed by christ's love and god's grace. i've done nothing to deserve it and continually fail at it, but god loves me and pursues me anyways. i've tried doing life without Him and it just isn't worth it to me.

i'm a cat person. there, i said it. i grew up with cats & dogs but so prefer having cats as pets. cats rule, dogs drool.

i have a slight addiction to burt's bees chapstick. i always have a stick of it within 5 feet of me...at all times. i also have a slight addiction to buying purses. some people buy jewelry, some buy shoes, i buy purses.

i love to travel, especially to new cities. i'm definitely a city girl over a beach girl. the beach is beautiful but i get bored in about 12 nanoseconds. i'd much rather be exploring and conquering a new city. i went to boston for the first time a few years ago with my sister and loved it. i have seattle, san francisco, and d.c. on the top of my list of cities to visit.

my favorite season is fall and it's finally here! yippee!

that's all the important stuff i can come up with right now. if you want to know anymore about me, just ask!
