hahahaha i'm dying about boots. that is awesome. also, i was terrified of a curling iron but once i did it a few times i was okay with it! practice helps! xo
I love the loose curl look! Thanks for the tutorial...I actually watched every second...I took it all in and hopefully I will get a chance to try it soon. Yah!!
I love your hair!! I have similar length hair, this may sound like a dumb question, but I am assuming your sister cuts your hair; does she have any pointers on how she cuts it that I could pass on to my hair dresser; ex: layers, bangs? I would just go to her, but I live in Illinois!! :)
My haircut is pretty simple, just some long layers and a natural face frame (thanks fo years of damage) and my bangs are finally growing out so that's why they're in a kind of awkward length stage!
I enjoy reading your blogs!!! Question.. I have thin fine and super straight here. Just a little longer than shoulder length.. Do you know how I can get it to have curl or atleast some body?? I try to use products but because of the structure of my hair, products just make it look greasy. Any suggestions??
This post was cracking me up. Love the curls. Love the cat's persistence in meowing. Love that you let your hairspray "cool" on each section, and I especially love that every time you tilted your head I tilted mine as well.
Hahaha love that you caught the "cool" thing. I was too far into my video to even think about doing it again. I was going to warn you guys about that stupid little comment, but you exposed me! ; )
We all have our little "quirky" things. I often catch myself blowing on cold cereal as if I've forgotten it's already cold. I did love the video, and curled my hair fantastically today.
You. Are. Adorable! I'm sure you hear this all the time, but I read your sister's blog too, and I literally refer to you and your sis as "my BFFs Kate and Lauren that live in North Carolina." So sad, I know...but thanks for all the great blog posts!!! :)
yes, i brush it while i'm blowdrying it a bit. my hair doesn't tend to get very frizzy though, it's not that texture. try brushing it! that may help maintain some of the frizz!
So at 34, after years of trying to get my hair to look nice curled using hot rollers, foam rollers, plastic rollers and a curling iron, it took seeing you comb through each section before you curled to finally get my hair to look nice curled! I can't believe I was missing such a critical step. UGH!!! And thank you! :)
Found this today and I'm so glad I did! I've been reading your sisters blog for a few months, and yours for a few weeks now. I use many of your sisters tuts and get good results but the front of my hair is more like your and I could never get it looking right! Next time I curl my hair I will try doing the very front like you did with the flat iron. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
I love your blog and also your sisters, i read it every day! I hope my hair will grow longer soon, i can´t wait to practice your tutorials!! To be honest i try to curl my hair since ages and ages :-) but i can´t convinve it to hold (the curs to stay). I have very thick - like horse - hair! :-) :-) do have an idea how i could get that lovely curly NATURAL look? without two tons of hairspray? :-) http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2965524066143&set=a.2965491705334.2121669.1502887856&type=3&theater
Hi Lauren. Love your blog and this tutorial! Every time I curl my hair, the curls get too short and not loose-looking like your's. Any advice? My hair is course and thick...
