i'm so excited to finally share some photos of my new place with you! i'm taking you through the living room today.
i wanted some simple decor above my couch, so i decided to hang a few shelves and place some simple wooden picture frames on them. it's simple but fills the space nicely.

i LOVE my coffee table. i added a simple tray, bowl with vanilla flavored coffee beans, and a ceramic owl. oh, and that shag rug, amazing.

i wanted to add something to the wall above the tv but didn't want any distracting art, so i thought mirrors would be a good idea. also, i die for those white candle sticks on the tv stand.

and THIS is my re-upholstered chair!!! i love this thing. my mom and i recovered it so that it would be a "statement" piece in the living room. i'd say it gets the job done.

ReplyDeleteVery cute! I have a white ceramic owl that looks just like that but it's from West Elm. If you like owls, you should check out there stuff. They have some cute mercury glass owls too.

I have that same purple bowl from Ikea. I had it on my coffee table with some peppermint & butterscotch candies, but my dog was a Sneaky Sneakerson and would get into it.
