high five for friday

here's five of my favorite things from this past week:
1. my new DIY yarn garland.
2. baseball tees and jean shorts are the dress code for rainy, errand-running days.
3. my favorite jewels.
4. otis was a train conductor the other night. i think he felt very powerful in that 
    position, he didn't really want to get out.
5. my new, darker hair color thanks to my sister! i'm going for a more natural look 
    and i'm pretty much diggin' it so far.

  4. Cute purse. I like the color and that slouchiness.

    Hope everyone has a good Friday. My post talks about wild strawberries, saving a chipmunk from a pool and 3 more. I have a request. Everyone puts their name, but I would love it if they put one or two of the highlights instead. I don't know if I am being wrong by putting a description instead of my name, but I think it describes my post better. Just a thought, not trying to be a pain.

  17. Your hair color looks awesome! I would really love to add highlights to my hair but my stylist says "don't do it until you have to" but I want to now! Haha

And am seriously in love with the yarn garland! :) I'm debating on the 30x30 challenge....I don't have much planned for the next month, so I don't think it would make sense for me right now, but the idea is fantastic, and one I am sure to use in the future!
