friday night was spent at the local art museum watching a movie outside. my sister made the cutest little treat boxes, full of mini frosting-stuffed cupcakes. there was homemade popcorn and small red and white striped bags for a real movie experience. blankets, pillow, and, yes, even a stuffed owl.
weather: A+
food: A+weather: A+
company: A+
movie: ...let's just say I won't be renting it anytime soon! (let's also say that i'm usually not a fan of the critically-acclaimed, award winning movies. my fault, not theirs.)
basically, if you have the chance to go to an outdoor theater sometime, do it.

Looks like fun! I enjoyed Midnight in Paris...it was like a postcard right out of Paris in the 20s. Although I was an English major and was able to follow the literary references throughout, I had to dig waay back to Art Appreciation to remember the artists. Plus, I love it when Owen Wilson plays a sweet role (i.e. Marley and Me) rather than a ridiculous one :)
ReplyDeleteI was an English major, too, so I LOVED this movie! :)

ReplyDeleteHi Lauren!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you use to recreate you blog? I need to get mine to look more professional. What do you suggest??
Hi Catie! I created all of my design elements in Photoshop Elements and then just did basic changes to customize the "simple" template...nothing too complicated!
DeleteI'm super jealous of your friend for her ability to pull off the top knot. I cannot accomplish that for whatever reason. Looks like a blast! I want a stuffed owl. It's SO CUTE! :)
