i think everyone can agree that life can be stressful at times, or all the time. i'm still at a stage in my life where things are pretty stress-free, but i know it's just a matter of time before life takes over and i have a lot of other things to think and worry about. so, i'm starting a new habit. every so often (monthly, quarterly, yearly), i'm going to make a "happy list". it will be comprised of 8-10 activities that i do regularly that put me in a good mood and relax me. then, on those stressful or just not great days, i'm going to do one of those things listed on my "happy list". i can't guarantee that it will take my stress away or change the whole course of the day, but i am pretty sure that it will give me an opportunity to take a step back and enjoy something.

it won't require any thinking, because i'll already have my list made. i'll just have to choose what i want to do, and then do it.

here's to (hopefully) forming good habits and being happy.

and, yes, Target made my list. nobody should be surprised by this.
