i was pleasantly surprised by the weather Chicago had for us upon returning from Florida! after dressing for spring for a few days, i was dreading having to get back into my winter boots and heavy jacket, but we've been hangin' out in the 40's and it has been wonderful. it's also a good reason to start pulling out some of my Spring accessories. i'm starting to get to that point where i'm actually looking forward to integrating some more color into my wardrobe. i go into serious hibernation in the winter and wear almost exclusively neutrals, but the warmer temps usually make me reach for my softer hues and even a little pattern (!).

while it's still very much winter, i'll be mixing my favorite black and dark grey clothes with some lighter colors to (hopefully) usher in warmer weather. i love an easy outfit like this that's comfortable, but still makes me feel put together.

by the way, HOW IS IT FEBRUARY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

seriously. what is happening.

  2. I saw the necklace you are wearing in an Instagram pic of your sister. She had two of them layered and I was wondering if the two necklaces were exactly the same or if there are two different sizes. I only see one size on your website. Thanks!

  4. Loving your hair and that cardigan is amazing; so sad it's not available! And I can't wait to invest in a pair of Zella leggings! Would you say they're true to size?

Also, and unfortunately: climate change. That's what's happening.

    1. It's just not available online, but I saw them in several outlet stores! Yes, they're true to size for me. Sometimes it's better to size down one size (especially if you're on the line between two sizes) because they are super stretchy, so you don't want to constantly be pulling them up. I'd read the reviews, too!
