Hello, 2017!

I've officially climbed out of the deep, dark hole that was "holiday time". YOU GUYS, it was crazy. The 3-ish weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas had me working 12-16 hour days, working on weekends, and overall wanting to pull my hair out. But, everything was accomplished, shipped, wrapped up, and complete by the end of it, by some miracle. I took a break from 12/20 to the end of the year and it was pretty perfect. I even felt bored, which was something I hadn't felt in awhile.

But, now I'm back! And it feels good! I'm looking forward to being able to share more outfits, lifestyle, and beauty things on the ole' blog and get into a routine with posting! #newyearsresolution

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that my goal for this year is not one that requires action, but the opposite. It's easy for me to get sucked into multi-tasking, to have my phone in my hands at all times, and to generally think about myself. However, this year I'm making a conscious effort to be present. Many a change will be coming in 2017 (#gettingmarried), so I want to make sure that I'm soaking in everything this year has to offer. To be intentional in my relationships, business, and even my "down time". It won't be easy, but it's something that I need to focus on, so I'm hoping I can!

Other than that, I typically have general goals for the year - to read more and watch less, to eat healthy (save for the occasional weekly pizza delivery), and to keep up my workout routine. That, my friends, is made even cooler these days with my wireless headphones from Sudio Sweden. I've worked with Sudio in the past and always love their headphones, so I was so excited to try these babies out. They're sleek, beautiful, and have great sound. Oh, and they're wireless, which is the best part. No more annoying cords at the gym or getting wrapped up in my coat or purse.

White and gold headphones are basically my dream come true, so I never want to take these beauties off. The buttons are easily accessible and the headphones hold a charge for 24+ hours, which is good because I tend to forget to charge things like that. Plus, you can add these fun caps to change up their look! Buy the Regent Earphones here and get 15% off your order with code LAUREN15.

Do you have a goal for the new year?

  1. I want to be more patient with my 1 and 2.5 year old, and I also want to do daily devotional (I was so good about that in 2015 and not last year).

I really need a new Bible, do you have one you like?

    1. Hi Becky, I only have one toddler and I am working on being more patient and speaking to her softly yet firmly when she gets testy. I commend & salute you for having 2 so close in age. :) I have been using the wide margin Bible from Amazon. You can write notes, draw and get creative!

  3. Those headphones look awesome.

It's not the most original goal, but this year I want to take better care of myself. Be more active, lose weight, eat healthier, treat my skin better. I want to feel better about myself.

  4. My main goal for the year is to practice gratitude daily. I think we all get too caught up and just assume that others know we're grateful for them but for me at least, I need to be way more intentional with my gratitude.

  5. Lauren- those headphones are so stylish! But what buttons are on the headphones? Pause? Volume control? I looked on the website and it didn't say.

  7. I was able to get evidence on my cheating husband through the services of hacknerds@cyberdude.com I got detailed info about his secret dating, call logs, email accounts, Facebook, Instagram and whatsapp chats including deleted messages. The amazing stuff is this was done without physical access to his phone. didn't have to worry about getting caught.
