i'm lauren. lauren elizabeth, to be precise. and if that photo wasn't proof enough that i'm a "blogger", here's me in a nutshell:
recent college grad with a degree in brand management and marketing in fashion. jewelry designer. cat lover. faux interior decorator. follower of jesus. coffee drinker. collector of pretty things, namely handbags. clearance rack shopper. instagram addict. eater of coffee ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. relocated northerner. total homebody. netflix watcher. local fro yo shop frequenter. chicago style pizza lover. user of only lower case letters.
it's probably pretty safe to say that i have an inappropriate obsession with my two cats, milo & otis. proof? 97% of the photos on my phone are of them. oh, you have that many of your pet, too? good. glad i'm not alone.
but, seriously. when they do things like spoon on a heating pad or take piggy back rides around my apartment, i can't help but think they're cooler than me.
my boyfriend's name is mike. he's cool. what's not cool is that he lives in the midwest, where i'm originally from. so, yeah, we're doing that long-distance thing. we've actually known each other since high school. you can read more about our story here.
and last, but not least, my sister happens to be the "pinterest hair girl". that's right. i share genes with that girl. and jeans, from time to time.
i think that pretty much covers the basics.

Okay lady, where are the awesome lessons and how do I sign up? I am recently divorced and in this place of finding myself and making the world I live in a place of beauty, reflection of joy and self expression. I am in love with your site which I discovered through Shannon's "Mehspace", my weekly chuckle. Keep sharing the beauty and I can't wait to make that confetti board for my newly (under construction) made over bedroom! I think I'll get a metallic marker and write oddly spaced words on a few of the circles for daily inspiration! Such a versatile idea.

My Bonnie cat takes piggy back rides on me too. First cat I ever had that did that.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog on twitter and I'm so glad! I did long distance for two years, no fun. But you know what, I think it makes your relationship that much stronger. Thankfully my boyfriend moved to SF so we're done with the long distance part for now. But I feel you on that one. Also loving the white converse, I think I should pull mine out of the back of the closet...
